Refurbished Instruments Delivered to Denham Springs Jr. High

Tipitina’s Foundation had the honor of delivering over a dozen refurbished instruments and cases to Denham Springs Jr. High. These instruments were damaged during the floods that engulfed the Baton Rouge area in late 2016. The Instrument Repair Program led by Stafford Agee of Rebirth Brass Band was founded in conjunction with Instruments A Comin’ to refurbish used instruments and place them right back into the band room.

“Thank you just doesn’t seem adequate. Getting these instruments is a huge help to our program. Missing those instruments was like missing people to play certain positions on the football field. I had no way to replace nor repair those instruments without your help. The Tipitinas foundation is now a part of the DSJH Band family.” -Ryan Benoit Band Director at Denham Springs Jr. High

Please contact us at if you know of a school that was impacted by these floods.
