Job Opening – Attn Musicians & Film MakersTIPITINA’S MUSIC OFFICE CO-OP is an economic development and job skills training program for musicians, film makers, and other digital media professionals. A project of the Tipitina’s Foundation, sponsored by the State of Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism, Tipitina’s Music Office Co-Op provides technology access, training, tech support, production assistance, live performance opportunities, networking, and other forms of business assistance to music/media entrepreneurs. The Music Office Co-Op is now accepting applications for a full-time paid position in Baton Rouge, Louisiana: Baton Rouge Co-Op Office ManagerApplicants must be mature, reliable, have great communication and customer service skills, be good at helping and teaching others, and have substantial experience both in general business settings and as music/media professionals. A college degree, general computer know-how, and proven ability to produce professional results with one or more of the following software packages are required: Additional experience with desktop music/audio (Pro Tools, Reason) and desktop video (Final Cut Pro) preferred.
